In 1978 The Australian Fan Club was started by
2 devoted Cliff fans in Adelaide, Glenys Grundy & Sheila Lewis.
In 1981 they decided to go National,
becoming the fan club for the whole of Australia.
In April/May of 1986 the club relocated to Brisbane,
where another pair of devoted fans took up the reins.
Helen Kidd(PRESIDENT)& Judy Falkingham(VICE PRESIDENT),
later passing on to Gwenda Hughes(PRESIDENT) & Sharyn Little(VICE-PRESIDENT).
After 17years of hard work and committment, Gwenda & Sharyn's work was done
and once again it was time for a change.
That leads us to today, 2003, where we now have a "dynamic" new team
led byJoanne Saunders(PRESIDENT) & Christine Fisher(VICE PRESIDENT)both from Melbourne.
We look forward to what the future holds for this Club
and our desire is to spend many more years serving its members and
carrying on the work that was so unselfishly done
for so many years in the past.
